AYURVEDA
What is Ayurveda ?
Ayurveda is a 5000 year old ancient practice. Ayurveda is the science of life, where the five elements of nature are studied and examined, how they affect the body, and how they can be remedied to live a more balanced and holistic life.
How does it work?
The Ayurvedic practitioner will go over an extensive assessment with you to understand your body's natural inclinations and tendencies, including environmental stresses and effects on your body. Assessment would include your life style and basic daily habits.
Based on the assessment the practitioner can then recommend lifestyle modifications. The practitioner would add or remove certain foods to your diet and explain the seasonal effect on your particular body type. ( Vitta, Pitta or Kapha)
Why do it?
Do you get up tired? Do you feel bloaty or sluggish after certain meals or certain times?
Do you feel like you do not see results for all the exercise you do? Could it be that you are working out at the wrong time of day?
Do you find it hard to focus while you meditate and so you tried it and quit?

There is so much that our body does and it needs a rhythm that matches the tune of nature. Certain things do not suit our body types and if we continue to do it, maybe we are misguided or under informed, it can have a negative effect on your life and health.
To bring all the five elements in alignment and live an optimum lifestyle, you must bring your doshas in balance. The practitioners advise on changing certain lifestyle habits, times, adding certain herbs or spices to your daily routine and learn about your body.
Ayurveda can help you live a balanced life today. You have the power to change your life for the better. Start today.
